Soros. What's the big deal? Just a limousine liberal who actually puts his money where his mouth is. Just like the Cadillac conservative Koch brothers. People need boogeymen I guess.
There will always be Masters of the Universe like Soros, Bloomberg, Tech CEO's etc who want to consolidate power into he hands of the few elite, but disguise it as "Social Justice". Make no mistake, these Globalists want to remove the sovereignty of the U.S, and replace it with their Progressive vision to increase their own power.
The goal should be not to "destroy" them, but to reveal the TRUTH about what they are doing, and what they really want. It is not altruism, it is Totalitarianism. That's another reason why they don't want the law abiding to own guns.
What is it that gets certain people so riled up about this guy?
I've heard his name bounced around in a negative way by people who are far to the political Right. But they don't give an explanation of why they think he has wronged the world so badly, or why he's even relevant to give them or anyone else this kind of reaction. Some specific examples and credible evidence would be helpful.
Name calling does a poor job of articulating where the anger is coming from.
Hannity/Inforwars/Levine ad infinitum talk radio and internet right wing talkers. Pretty much where 95% of CD right wing binge posters get their opinions from.
If the right doesn't want someone with lots of money like Soros donating millions to pursue his interests and beliefs, put caps on political donations - be it individuals, corporations, or organizations such as unions.

It's one thing to dislike the other side's money guy. It's another thing to be so dumb that you don't even understand you have your own money guy doing the same thing. That is what we see from anti-Soros Conservatives.

And another thing I've noticed: the people that claim Soros is a "totalitarian" never have a negative word to say about Trump besties Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un. True totalitarians.

What is Trump advocating, and what policies has Trump put in place to make him "Totalitarian"? Don't you think the Congress, and the Courts would have something to say about it if he even tried?

I said Trump's "besties" Putin and Kim. Would you consider them totalitarians?

A huge amount of rhetoric that is spewed is just regurgitated political pablum. At first blush it makes the useful individual sound as if they have a thought, but try for a deeper conversation or independent discourse and you'll find there is no true understanding or meaningful idea.
Difficult to advance society or work on cultural and or political issues when fight to win mentality really means win the word or sound bite fight. Kool-Aid? Political propaganda? My guess is a vast amount of those who shout Soros' name, and vilify him don't have a clue who he is.
Useful idiot is a derogatory term, but it does describe what we are talking about here. A person perceived as a propagandist and who is shouting out ugly phrases and rhetoric for a cause of whose goals they are not fully aware and who is used cynically by the leaders of that cause.
Otherwise how does one explain those unlikely groups aligned in the trenches and in mass angry support of those powerful few ( whom they will die for)who are in actuality proposing ideas and policy that is counter productive to their very real selves.
