“China is trying to position itself as the sole dominant superpower, the sole dominant economic power,” FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Aspen Security Forum in mid-July. He said China “represents the broadest, most challenging, most significant threat we face as a country.”

What a LIE!
China grew economically because instead of following the economic policies pushed by Washington it IMITATED THEM. They can't control it so they are going to destroy it. It is the US that started the trade war. It is US that is attacking China. Incredible how they manage the revert the perception of reality.
With the tariffs and later sanctions they're not only going to bring down China's economy but the whole world.

Here is what this is all about: China is getting rich, Rich people in America are pissed the Chinese instead of just letting foreign shops to be set up in China and let foreign investors take all the profits, have learned the basics. Here's that they learned:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQhgC2vIqFQ

In other words. China is doing the exact same thing developed nations did: Block industrialized goods and instead industrialize themselves to sell the same goods at a lower price.

Unfortunately, they are about to be destroyed based on lies. Why? All foreign institutions lead by the US and Europe: IMF, World Bank, WTO, etc. either forbid industrialization in foreign countries, or only allow it in those industries where employment have become too expensive in developed world so they transfer their operations to a poor country.

The same industries that are given billions of dollars in developed countries, compete in a "free" market (race to the bottom) with goods from poor countries. If the Chinese are guilty of anything is that they are doing what the US has always done.

Same guys who told Obama Benghazi was caused by a video.

Same guys who went rogue at the IRS office in Cincinnati.

Same guys who were fired from the FBI and DOJ.

Everyone who knows anything about espionage knows that the Chinese have always been a threat. The amount of stuff they have stolen/pilfered over the years is outrageous. Because, we LET THEM IN HERE.

That's the first mistake.

Just to elucidate the above:
Fair trade means goods from developed countries which are subsidized with billions of dollars and protected with tariffs, need to "compete" with raw material products from the rest of the world.

How dare poor countries try to develop on their own! They have become the enemy of the "free world".

We'll see how far they take the propaganda to demonize China. The "war on terror" has not turned out the way they thought, so they're going back to old tactics.

I'm unable to find any rule or law that says the US and only the US can be the sole dominant economic power.

That's not what China is doing.

Unlike the US and Western Europe, China actually invests money in the infrastructure of foreign States.

When China eventually reaches its 4th Level Economy, unlike the US, China will be able to trade with India, Central Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, because the wage differential between China and States in those regions is not so great as it is between the US and States in those regions.

When the US colonized China from 1848 to 1902, and again from 1918 to 1938, had you developed China, you wouldn't be in the mess you're in now. In fact, it's unlikely Japan would have tangled with China, which would have precluded the US from levying embargoes on Japan for oil, steel, iron, coal, rubber and other resources, and Japan would not have adopted a two-prong approach to resolving the embargo, which was engaging in diplomacy while preparing to attack Pearl Harbor.

In fact, had you developed your colonies, instead of raping and looting them, you'd be much better off than you are now. Granted, your wages would be half of what they are and your Standard of Living and Life-Style a little less, but at least you'd have jobs and a Future.
