Why is that interesting? Is Conway going to make things up with no collaborating evidence too?

And, it isn't always apparent, at the outset, that the depression or other difficulty coping is rooted in sexual assault. It is sometimes a long process to disclosure and healing.
  • People can internalize more, externalize more or have behaviors symptomatic of both.
  • Some people are stronger and some weaker. Some are fight. Some are flight. People can't and don't react the same in how they remember/recall or cope.
  • Some are believed and advocated for, but many are not and are revictimized. I have seen where even very young victims were blamed to protect their abuser.
  • Sometimes, a significant life experience or trigger brings a level of the trauma back to the surface when it has been compartmentalized away. I wonder if this may have happened to Kellyanne who seems to be a compartmentalizer.

About reporting right away. People who haven't been strongly traumatized, sexually or otherwise, don't realize the impact and strength of those factors above. One client said to me, "Just as I didn't have any control over when or how he assaulted me, I also, for a very long time, didn't feel I had any more control over when or how or if I could recall or disclose what happened."
People are wired different from the get go.

I know. I read what she said before I watched it, and even in just words, she comes across in a sincere way that I honestly didn't think she had in her.

My opinion of her went up a few notches.

Some of those women ARE outright liars, like the kav accusers, and most if not all of the trump accusers

F.W.I.W., (which isn't much) I definitely believe Kellyanne. There's no way she would admit to being sexually assaulted without being chastised by Americans. Was she really so shortsighted that she couldn't see the amazing hypocrisy in her revelation?

Shrug. If that’s what you call believing people whose politics you like and not believing people whose politics you don’t like.

Doesn’t seem all that sensible to me, frankly.
