...did you see it?

SNL and Matt Damon (Kavanaugh) did a spot on cold opening with Damon at the Senate interview table, doing facial impressions of Kavanaugh as well as poking fun at his anger, his non support of a FBI investigation, his gulping of water at times.

Also a target...his calendars, his history as a heavy, sloppy beer drinker in early years, and yes references to sexual assaults...

It was exaggerated of course...

Definitely no support of Kavanaugh by SNL.

Its not even funny. Liberals have no soul and no morals, and SNL is trash.

Distasteful and irresponsible bad timing at this point.

So we attack conservatives for mocking Ford but we applaud liberals or others for making fun of Kavanaugh.

I KNOW!!!!

It goes the other way too -- no problem with memes/bad jokes etc. mocking Ford but it is mean to mock Kavanaugh.

I'm starting to get it....maybe it's not fair, right -- in these types of cases -- to mock anybody.

.

Well -- as many jokes attacking Kavanaugh -- there are those mocking Ford.

to claim moral high ground is naive, and hypocritical.

I get it.

I was as quick to like a video mocking Kavanaugh or making light of his testimony and realized -- others are doing the same to Ford.

It's not right -- maybe that's what we do to try and survive -- find humor......

But I am not so sure this case is the right case to find humor.

Honestly, just how I am feeling. I just wouldn't judge one side or the other -- because that would just be hypocritical.

I appreciate your post and agree that humor at the expense of either one of these individuals is inappropriate.

I don't think it was the situation that was made fun of
as it was his BEHAVIOR at the hearings.

No, the situation is not funny in any way...of course...far, far from it.

Yes, here humor is a way to blow off a deeply serious situation for a short time. Otherwise some of us could fall into a depression over the entire ordeal.
