Democrats wanted to the FBI to interview every high school student in the city from the 80's.

Are you still referring to Swetnick?

As indicted above, she submitted a sworn affadavit. The Senate cannot brush her off. Ms. Swetnick may be the final straw that gets the GOP to dump Kavanaugh.

The Democrats smear campaign is uniting the right and decency valuing independents as well. Here is a quote from an article by Sohrab Ahmari at the New York Post.

Quote:
Dems' Smear Against Kavanaugh Is Energizing the Right

Whatever the outcome of the immediate contest, it’s increasingly clear that Democrats and the media establishment made an enormous miscalculation by waging total war against Kavanaugh and his family.

Liberals set out to cast the federal judge — amiable, well-credentialed, mildly conservative — as a demon. In the process, they have reminded GOP voters and all but the most stubborn Never Trump intellectuals that there are worse things than Donald Trump’s outbursts and the ineptitude of congressional Republicans.

People who are alcoholics tend to die at an earlier age. It would appear Kavanaugh is an alcoholic. Thus, it is reasonable to guess that Kavanaugh could die at a relatively early age.

No matter what side of the isle you are on, objectively, it has to be acknowledged that this process has motivated a previously complacent republican base to become energized to vote in November. Big tactical mistake on the part of dems IMO.

I doubt it changes anything other than maybe makes the house margin for Democrats tighter. The Republicans were going to hold the senate anyway

Joe Manchin reportedly leaning “yes” on Kavanaugh.
Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin is reportedly leaning yes on Kavanaugh

Much respect for Joe if he does this, I don’t even care if he’s doing it for political purposes. We need a bit of bipartisanship right now, even if just one vote. If you vote yes Joe I wish you the best of luck in November, even though you voted against the Tax plan you are still the best the Democrats have to offer.

You mean the investigation that Republicans Flake, Collins and Murkowski asked for?

And where was the investigation into Swetnick's claims?
Why wasn't Mark Judge subpoenaed to appear before the Senate committee?
What about Kavanaugh's college roommate and other witnesses who the FBI ignored?
What about Kavanaugh's perjury and coverup about what he did in the Bush administration?

False, the elected Republicans went overboard trying not to smear Ford. Annoying so in my opinion. We didn't know a damn thing about her until the last couple of days.
