After dragging his name through the mud for weeks, can Brett sue Ford, and by that matter Finestein for that matter for leaking it out? If he can, should he?
Anyone can sue anyone for anything.
But for him to collect damages, he’d have to prove that she deliberately made it all up. And I don’t think he can do that.
A person can sincerely tell the truth as they know it, and still be factually incorrect. Not saying that’s what Ford did, just that to collect damages, Kavanaugh would have to prove that she knew it was all a lie.
I don’t think he should sue her, because it would open the whole can of worms again, and this time there would be no friendly WH to limit who is brought in as witnesses.
So that's your bar? Many people have lied under oath, so we should not hold a SC justice to being truthful under oath? What's the point of being a judge, if you are not held to the most basic standard of the law?

He'll probably never speak of it once he's confirmed. Probably because he knows it's true and do not want to risk being impeached.

I agree. I don't think Kavanaugh would be smart to open this can of worms. It will just extend the grief for his family without a reward at the end.
Heck, the Dems still have not accepted that Trump is our President, which occurred: One year, + 257 days, 17 minutes and 59 seconds ago!
you are confused dude, what the dems are not accepting is Mitch's attempts to break the Supreme Court.
Putting such as extremist, who has openly exposed his political bias and who has publicly vented about his hate of the Clintons and democrats will BREAK THE SCOTUS.
Either you guys don't understand that or don't care, i really don't know which it is.
Trump has been exposed as an absolute liar, thief and traitor, going to these lengths to protect him is crazy, and endangers our nation's democracy.

Did you get to read the report? I saw some news where Republican Senators were saying they liked it, but that does not mean much.
Did it get leaked already? Is there evidence that she broke a law?
He'd be wise to clam up. He's already undeniably on the hook for lying under oath about about a number of things. He should just be lucky he did it under an admin, and in front of supporters who value wining over truth.

He's going to get appointed with the leaders of our country holding him to the standards they choose. I'm betting that if they put you and Mr Kavanaugh side by side and compared your lives. That you would be the one coming out looking like a scumbag.
