He never said that he knew her. He said that it was possible that he knew her, but he doesn't remember her. He said that they did not run in the same circles.
Yes I remember the not running in the same circles comment. As for the rest, it seems we all heard something slightly different that basically amounts to the same thing.
Someone who cares more than me will have to wade through the testimony to get the exact words.
Flake undercut his Bipartisan Hero persona more directly, however, in the 60 Minutes interview, when asked if he would have undertaken the gambit in the Judiciary Committee were he not retiring from the Senate this year:
“Not a chance,” Flake said when asked on CBS’s “60 Minutes” if he would have asked for the investigation if he were up for reelection in the November midterms.
“There’s no value to reaching across the aisle,” Flake said. “There’s no currency for that anymore. There’s no incentive.”

I'm not really sure what it would mean anyway.
Well, one thing seems pretty sure - if they ever met, she didn't make any sort of impression on him. (Though to be fair, both of them looked pretty geeky in high school - but who didn't? LOL)
Which knowing how sensitive she is to what she perceives as a "lack of respect or appreciation which she deserves" might shed some light on things. Hmmmm...
Since people are throwing this phrase around, I'll use it in it's original form:
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Usually attributed to William Congreve, 1697

He has said it multiple times. The hearing is still out there on video for anyone who wants to watch it. He said he did not know her. When he was asked did he ever meet her, he said it was possible that he may have met her at some point, but he does not and did not know her. Anyone saying otherwise is spinning.
If the story about her having 54 sexual encounters before getting to college is correct there is a good chance he knew of her without knowing her personally. I knew of a girl like that when I was in HS in the 60s, but I made it a point not to know her. I still remember her name though.
If this were the case then BK may be reticent to mention it, because he is more of a gentleman than a lot of people here would give him credit for.

The FBI has thousands of agents and huge resources. They can easily do the interviews in 3 days. Then a day to coordinate all the info. I would suspect this is at the top of their To Do list this week.
They may stall a day just so Dems don't say they rushed the process.
If Dems want to interview every classmate when Kavanaugh was in high school, it's only fair to interview Christine Ford's classmates. She made Kavanaugh look like a virgin in comparison. Oh, wait - he WAS a virgin.
