Well, the democrats had an agenda and the republicans were dumb. Or so it seems.

Innocence Project has done one HECKUVA job over the years, hopefully we can all agree on those points.
Texas pays more than any other state for wrongful convictions. Something like 80k per year.

But then, I’m willing to bet that with their level of prosecutorial misconduct, they probably wrongfully imprison a helluva lotta people too. And Texas is very famous for their crooked ass prosecutors. They birth ‘em like rabbits

Ok, that would be a good chunk of change for him hopefully. (around 2mil)

Barring evidence showing the rates of misconduct by state, I'm not going to throw stones at other states considering I lived in Illinois and Chicago for my first couple decades of life.

McConnell wants them withheld and McConnell has the power to either withhold them or release them. Can't Repubs take responsibility for anything???

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., was adamant at a news conference Tuesday that the FBI report on Brett Kavanaugh will be for senators' eyes only. Meanwhile, Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called for the findings to be released publicly. The FBI is conducting a weeklong investigation into accusations of sexual assault against the Supreme Court nominee.

Women on this thread have shared many stories of their ordeals when they were girls, so I thought I could share one from a 17 yo boy's POV:

In high school I worked at a gas station close to downtown where all the Who's Who had their cars serviced. Since most of the men (many VIPs in the community) were at work during our business hours, their stay-at-home wives would bring the car to the station to drop off to be worked on. I would then drive them back home. I can't tell you how many of these women tried to entice me to stay a while, have a beer, help with a chore, jump in the pool, etc.

So yes, there are many bored, unappreciated Mrs. Robinsons out there, young and old, who need to make themselves feel desirable.

It's a "nail" ...... it's not going to be the "final nail".

Read that Grassley Letter to the Democrats I posted.
The Timeline is very revealing -- it lists a lot of the specific interviews they did.

FOX NEWS has the story on their web site. Is that good enough for you. I'm always amazed how people in these very high profile cases think they can lie about all kinds of things, like Ms. Ford did, and think no one will investigate or contradict their story.

I just wish this fiasco would come to a close. At this point I could give a sh*t less in which direction the ending goes. I am weary as to the current state of politics in the U.S. and will just go about my life while this crap continues to happen. Thing is after this is over, who knows what will be next?

She worked for both the FBI and the DOJ .... she left employ in the Federal Government in 2016 after the Election. They can't force her to give an interview to FBI agents - I don't know why she would unless they have something more on her that would involve Criminal charges -

I would also think that if she refuses an interview with the FBI investigators -- that says a lot.
Looks like she was staying with this woman while she hired the attorneys (including Bromwich, McCabe's former attorney) -
