Trump certainly doent think much of those Americans that happen to be Democrats ,he calls them horrible horrible people. Those people represent more than half the American population and are viewed with hate venom and vitriol,so when trump says he is for Americans its just empty rhetoric and means only those Americans willing to bow down and worship him.

Do you honestly believe that the US somehow bows down to other countries.

Each country does have a self interest as well as a common interest in areas such as trade, security, defence etc.

I don't see how blatently upsetting allies is going to help the self interest of the US, in fact quite the opposite it's merely going to damage relationships.

"America First" can easily lead to America alone, and there are around 7 Billion Non-Americans in the world.

Of course Democrats don't understand this. How could they? They hate much of America themselves. They are absolutely intolerant of any view beyond their own.

Yet he went to Helsinki and threw the citizens of HIS country under the bus and proceeded to kiss the ass of a murderous foreign dictator.

IOW, he failed miserably at doing the very job you describe as his.

When the rest of the world is complaining, it is because we have a robust foreign policy that works for America. That is not hard to understand...unless you are a silly liberal who likes feelings over results.

Grow up.

Then please list specific details of just what he has re-negotiated in our favor and the specific benefits to our country. The generic 'Donny done good' is meaningless.

The Germans were laughing at Trump just last week in relation to Trump suggesting they would be deopendent on Russian energy. Germany has even publically stated that it will decide on the countries defence expenditure and not Donald Trump.

For the MAGA people in the crowd, American firstism caused the Great Depression. You didn't learn your history, did you?
'trusted partner' is a substitute word for 'easily duped'.

Obama engendered trust when he promised to move the US embassy to Jerusalem

Obama engendered trust when he drew his red line in Syria

Obama engendered trust when he pulled out of Iraq.

Obama engendered trust when he reneged on the promise to send defensive missiles to Poland

Obama engendered trust when he sent food and blankets to the defenders of crimea when putin invaded

So far trump has delivered what he promised as well as the hope and change Obama never delivered.

when Iran ate Obama's lunch, the rest of the world began to drool, impatient to make deals with the incompetent community organizer.

In terms of Iran, the EU is now going to bypass US Sanctions and growing divisions with the US have led to the EU finding a common cause with Russia and China on issues like the Iran deal and trade tariffs.

The US is increasingly being ignored, and more future trade deals and foreign policy deals may exclude the US.

Populism tends to deal in the short term, in the longer term the US may find itself as a disadvantage as nations move to do new deals on a range of issues without the US.

Short term bullying may win short term concessions but may also push allies to make multilateral deals and to increase trade ties with other nations regardless of the US, and may in the future lead to a much less US-centric trading world than we currently have, and may in the longer term be damaging to the US as a result.
