Trump doesn't do his own taxes. He has lawyers and CPA's doing it like everyone with a lot of money does.
Obviously you didn't even begin to read the article.

Of course there is this.

WHY do you care given that Trump is owned by Russian oligarchs?

N.B.: I've provided as much proof of Trump's ownership as you have of the NYT's ownership.

Of course he inherited all his Dad's money and was a trust fund kid.

So are all his kids.

The illegal tax stuff is -- it sounds guilty but....so I am not going to judge.

Either there is something there to pursue -- or nothing.

BUT - -OF COURSE WE KNEW HE WAS NOT A SELF MADE MAN -- lol.

You really believe that? Let's see..Trump has his employees, attorney and campaign managers caught up in some sort of money fraud, bank wiring or other white collar crimes. Yet you believe Trump is clean even though he hasn't produced his returns and has been caught lying and cheating many times?

It's not a question of him being born a millionaire.

It's the entire story - from start to finish.

Depending on how you do the calculations, if he would have invested his inheritance in Index funds or in Berkshire H (Buffets very conservative fund), he'd be worth from a low of 10 billion (stock index at low end) to a high of 200+ BILLION dollars...if he invested with Warren Buffet (which was an option...anyone could buy his stock and still can)....

So here is a guy who used every trick in the book to avoid taxes (which, BTW, others have to end up making up for) and - STILL, he managed to lose vast amounts of money in addition to ripping off investors, bondholders, taxpayers and most everyone else he came in contact with....

I mean....that's quite an accomplishment to turn 10's of billions or 100's (compounded inflation adjusted value of his inheritance) into about zero or low single digits! How many of us are capable of that?

The strange thing here is that people who seem to be able to do basic math don't realize this.

Of all the character flaws we are aware of over the years, you think this alone would convince his followers? Lol. The man was elected after conning people with his fake university and still became president.

One's that can lose money running a casino...
I recall hearing a commentator saying the only way to lose money running a casino is to lock the doors and tell people "Go away! Go away!!!"
