He's probably going to get confirmed now that the accusations have proven to be unsubstantiated. He didn't lie or perjure himself, and he is no more partisan than any other judge who's registered with a particular political party. Although I'm sure he's pissed off about the way he was treated like most of the country is.

I voted for a better economy, lower taxes and lower unemployment, he's been amazing at that so far. I voted for increased border security, more ICE raids and a border wall. He's making progress in that area even though Democrats are fighting to protect illegals every way they can.

Brent Kavanaugh is a damn good man who's spend decades serving this country and he's got an impeccable record. He's never been accused of anything until Democrats decided to destroy him with false allegations and now we know that is a fact.
There must be more qualified people to be a Supreme court judge. Sure Kavanaugh has an "R", after his name. He also has a "J," for Jerk.

He will probably be sitting on the Supreme court, next week. Sad day for America, when we can do no better than this. If senators would really vote with their brains, this would not happen. There needs to be changes to the congress.

Term limits in the Supreme court would help. This highly spoiled rich man is entitled, I guess. Now, he may hold one of the most important jobs in America. I disagree completely that he is a good man. A good man would have owned up to his past mistakes and not been a blubbering fool at an interview for a top job. He should not even be a federal judge; in my very humble opinion.

The senators need to really think what they are putting on that panel; voting to please their president, does not cut it.

I agree. I feel there is something lacking, having motivated him to act as he had, something he is not unfamiliar with. (Not so different from another having an even a greater lack of character).

Could you list those lies for those who missed them?

He did not say, "I have grabbed..."

Not exactly an admission, in the Bill Clinton sense of "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is..."
And there it is. The Trump hate is so strong that every sentence is micro analyzed to see if and how it can be twisted just the tiniest bit. It's in every news cycle and that is exactly what is meant by fake news.

He has not lied about anything.

Partisan hack? His written opinions clearly indicate otherwise- let me guess, you have not read even one of them.

Conspiracy wackadoodle? Any fool can see the Democratic party is indeed conspiring against him. They don't want another Conservative on the high bench. Therefore they are conspiring.

This is true. One could enjoy beer or doing crack, but how it affects them including workplace behavior is an issue here. That said, there might be consistency if an elected and appointed official abstained from non-prescription drugs and alcohol.

Why didn't that "rule" apply when Garland was nominated by President Obama? He wasn't even given a hearing for over a year...until the Republicans ran out the clock.
