The typical liberal-dem posters continue to bash anyone who isn't a dem. If this SCOTUS candidate was a dem - they would be defending him tooth and nail.
Obama admitted to the behavior. It did not try in trivialize it, or deny he did it. That's the difference.
It was his belligerent partisan response that was most concerning. We want to put this guy with this temperament and those kinds of biases on the highest court on our nation???
I do.
The guy does not take BS sitting down. Why the hell should he?
If someone tried to smear you, somehow I do not think you would sustain a Mr. Spock demeanor.

That's a very good point, but their was obvious evidence that Obama was a drug, and alcohol abuser. He HAD to admit it. There isn't any of that with Kavanaugh.

What was the "obvious evidence" on Obama?
Full disclosure: I'm asking so we can compare it to Kavenaugh. I'd like to know that evidence, and see how Kavenaugh fares using the same standard. That's fair, isn't it?
Give us what you have on Obama. (other than "he admitted it", because you are citing the obvious evidence as reason he "had to" admit it, so I'm looking for what was there before he admitted it.)

That bothered me, too, but I am trying to stick with the issue raised in the original post. His partisan attitude is a whole other subject, and yes, I found it chilling.
Slurring, stumbling, aggressive behavior, bar fights etc indicate a very severe levels of intoxication, which guarantee memory black-outs. A black-out is common and not a crime, but makes it impossible to claim with 100% certainty things did not happen. If you can't remember, you don't know. This is why he has to lie about the black-outs. The problem is that you cannot lie under oath, because it is against the law.
It doesn't guarantee blackouts. In fact, I know people who drank so much I would have thought they blacked out, but they remembered everything. Not everyone blacks out even though the same amount could cause you or me to black out. He said he never blacked out, and I believe him.
Yeah right. It is the real world. Let's see those slander claims.
Kavanaugh is a national public figure, it's damn near impossible to win a slander case in this situation for him. Sitting on the SCOTUS for the next 35 or 40 years will be vindication enough.
