I think you'd have a better chance of asking tribbles stop multiplying than to ask a thread to just die.

All of you have to do is look at any relationship and dating board on the Internet (including this website) to see the HUMONGOUS backlash and animosity between men and women now. Or any of the "MGTOW/Men's Rights" videos on Youtube to see this in action.

Make no mistake, the "battle of the sexes" is going to get MUCH WORSE in the future...
That exists on forums but actually not so much the real world. I don't know any angry women who hate men or angry men who hate women, not even my fiancé, who got stuck with lifetime alimony which hurts both of us. Make no mistake he hates HER, but not women in general. At my workplace (nursing home) we still make the same jokes we always did, we still banter back and forth the same as we always did, we still allow the residents to flirt and make off-color comments and laugh with them, no one has a fit. In my actual life, I see absolutely no difference in relations between men and women.

These sites (not just the men's rights sites but all sites that focus on a narrow area) can make you feel like it's actually much more dire than it actually is, they poison people's minds and make them think they can't even say "hi" to each other, when in most people's world, nothing has changed. That's why I feel like the 16 year old who hangs here and on those boards is doing himself such a disservice, because men and women can and still do have great relationships with each other whether at work or socially, and he's going to miss out on all of it because he's on a doomsday site that makes him think it's a minefield when it's actually not.

Yes, and he already hates and fears women, and I think it's a shame.

I hope you're right. The health of Western Civilization pretty much depends on it.

And I am NOT being melodramatic whatsoever.

I think the current divide by political affiliation is much more of a threat to our future.

Actually as a matter of law, testimony is sufficient on its own. However a jury can choose to believe or not believe that the testimony overcomes reasonable doubt. And a judge can choose to override such a finding of guilt, but does not have to.

Talk about thread drift.......

Original thread topic The upcoming silent backlash against women".

I personally believe there will be a lot of men who will just not vote for a woman this election because of the hysterics with the Cavanah(sp) hearings.

We're in the 21st century now. It's a new era. Get used to it.
