I would say most evangelical Christians believe that Trump is represented by the Biblical character Cyrus. They see him as a non-believer whom God is using to restore the glory days of white Christian America and end abortion and same-sex marriage. Nothing Trump does matters because it's all about getting the SCOTUS justices they need to dismantle the First Amendment and impose Baptist theocracy on us all.

The only morals that seem to matter to most people these days is hating gays, hating brown people, and controlling women's reproductive decisions. As long as you have those "moral values" it doesn't matter what else you do. You could shoot somebody up on 5th avenue and it would be fine and dandy. As long as you hate gays, immigrants, and want to control women's bodies, you are as moral as you need to be.
And another bunch of evangelicals think he is the AntiChrist and the rapture is days away. My neighbor is one of those, along with the 2500 at her church.
