This is how race was legally defined back when it was a real disadvantage to be a minority:

"Segregation statutes consistently defined all those without African Ancestry as whites. Puerto Rico is not compatible with the U.S, and it has nothing to do with race. You are inventing that they are black just to make them out to be victims even though no statistics show that. Nope, 80% are white.

The US is full of people that look just like PR's.... so get over yourself...you're not that special or scary.

I have just as much right to be very white and move to PR as you do to move to the middle of Montana if you so choose my fellow US citizen. Heck, once upon a time I lived in a Chicago neighborhood that was just as black\brown as what you see in a town like Ponce....it was nice, I wasn't even asked to show a passport.

P.S. Speaking Spanish in the US is about as rare as McDonalds. I actually am the one that can speak it *very poorly* but still better than my mostly Mexican significant other....lmao.

Puerto Rico is blacker than the blackest US state.
Mississippi is about 40% black (with the other 60% being mostly white people)

While Puerto Rico is about about 70% descended from African ancestry (blacks/mulattos), now Im talking actual genetics not delusional self identification on a census. Puerto Rico had the opposite of the one drop rule, so people like Obama, Chris Brown, Beyonce (who are the majority in PR) are considered black in the mainland USA but would be considered white in Puerto Rico. Majority of PR is non-white, mainly mixed race mulattos/triracials, but also some full fledged blacks. Also just like how black Africans are different from white Europeans, so are chinky eye Asians, middle east Arabs, or mixed race Latinos, yall ain special lmao.

Also Puerto Rico is poorer than the poorest state, Mississippi's poverty rate is like 30% compared to Puerto Rico's 50%.

And the most Latino identified state is New Mexico at 50%, compared to Puerto Rico at 99%.

Now you tell me... will white America accept this. The rich whites working in banks in Wall Street NY are lowkey racist, while the poor whites working on farms in the Midwest and down South are openly racist, they will whine like babies and riot. Top that off, this is not the choice of people in US mainland or PR, but the US federal government, and we are more of a burden to them not a asset, unless they gentrify the island turn it into a whiteboy Caribbean paradise.
