these people are just propagating the hating, as they do. How can we stop the hate? Obama did promote hate, so maybe it will just take time. One can hope, anyway.
The comments condeming the halftime show are worse.
Charges should be pressed on them for bringing guns to a school event! There have been children expelled for bringing fake guns on school property! Such poor taste!
How was this allowed to even happen? Sick and crazy people. They should all be expelled & who ever is over them Principles & Teachers should be fired. This is uncalled for.
A halftime show with the Movie Q as the theme. Not a good choice with the gun hysteria out there AND especially right after 2 officers lost their lives only adds to the dumb move.
Expelling children for using props given to them by an adult. For props????!!! Expelling children because of a judgement in error??!!!
The title in the OP is garbage.
When you have 8 year olds suspended/expelled for eating a pop tart into the shape of a gun, when you have kindergartners and grade school kids suspended and/or expelled for using their fingers to simulate a pistol and going pew-pew like they're shooting while playing cops and thugs, when you have kids expelled for accidentally forgetting their hunting knife in their car/truck/backpack etc, etc, etc then one has to wonder how the hell ANYONE thought it okay to bring a realistic looking gun prop on campus, especially given that it is against the rules EVERYWHERE and in many places ILLEGAL.
The kids knew it was wrong, the teacher knew it was wrong and everyone who saw those props on campus knew it was wrong. If we're to be fair everyone has to pay a price.
Remember, it's ZERO tolerance for things like this, that's what people want nowadays so Bye bye to all involved...
In an era where you can't put on a musical like "Oklahoma" at some schools because it has a gun in the plot, this one just has me absolutely baffled.
I mean, if it weren't confirmed and someone was just telling me about it my first thought would be "Are you sure you didn't read this in the Onion?"
