There are innumerable, uncountable threads where the democrats on this forum bash the republicans. It just gets where reading through it seems so negative, rather than positive.

This is a thread where you can post your "brags", with NOTHING negative about the other side. For example, my senator is addressing the homeless problem and has created successful communities, or Head Start has made a big difference to a neighbor of mine who is now very successful in school.

NOTHING sneering and no name calling.

Take that challenge?

Default For left wing/liberals/democrats - post something positive

I can think of two areas where I agree with tRump:

1) correcting unbalanced trade agreements

2) minimizing illegal immigration

Although he's taken action on both issues, it remains to be seen if his approach is effective.

I have my doubts.

U.S. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke approved a 20-year ban on new mining claims in the mountains north of Yellowstone National Park today. Yes! The Mountains win again! For once Zinke did the right thing.

(Now can I go back to being my normal snarky self?)

Positive: I'm so proud to live in MA where we can count on our elected officials to do right by the people.

I'm proud to live in Oregon. We have two great senators, Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden. They are both moderate left of center politicians. I also like Representative Peter Defasio, although he's a bit more leftwing, still a very thoughtful person, not a rabid leftist IMO.

A simple request made in a very clear, concise post, yet most don't know how to follow instructions.

I am in favor of some of the things Trump is trying to do with regards to stopping the flow of illegals into our country.

The economy has been more robust since he's been in office.

Hey everyone. The point of this topic was for liberals to post something positive going on in their party. There is a thread down there somewhere where I asked republicans to post something positive going on in their party. Thanks! ;D

The "Bill and Hill" Clinton traveling show will be hitting the road soon to play at intimate settings to no doubt drum up Democrat support for 2020. No word on how much tickets will cost but I'm sure they will not be cheap.

There is also talk of Michelle Obama taking to the road and coming to a city near you.

If your pockets are deep enough this is a chance to rub elbows with a few of the giants of the Democrat party.

I guess that is something positive?

Senator Jeff Merkley (D - Oregon) stood on the senate floor for hours a few evenings ago, reading submitted testimonies from sexual assault survivors out loud - even though the chamber was empty. He wanted to make sure that their stories were told.

OH wait. I'm not a liberal, I'm just a plain old moderate Dem, so I probably should have sat this one out.
