Both parties agreed to an FBI investigation of the currently credible allegations. That was completed. The FBI interviewed the accusers' own witnesses. NONE of them would corroborate the accusers' allegations. NONE. The FBI turned that report over to the SJC. Done.

Under questioning by committee investigators, Ms Munro Leighton admitted, contrary to her prior claims, that she had not been sexually assaulted by judge Kavanaugh and was not the author of the original "Jane Doe" letter.

She later said that Kavanaugh and a friend raped her several times each in the back seat of a car.

"She further confessed to Committee investigators that 'I just wanted to get attention; it was a tactic; and that was just a ploy.' She told committee investigators that she had called Congress multiple times during the Kavanaugh hearing process - including prior to the time dr. Ford's allegation surfaced - to oppose his nomination..."

As I suspected, it seems the 8 Justice SCOTUS (on the case heard before Kavanaugh's confirmation) is initially split 4-4 on Constitutional property rights, and Knick v. Township of Scott (5th Amendment Takings Clause case) has been scheduled for a rehearing.

So... the 4 liberal Justices think you have no ownership rights to/on your own property, in violation of the 5th Amendment, and the 4 conservative Justices think you do according to the Constitution. That should scare the chit out of everyone, right there.
