The only silver lining is that it will hopefully motivate anyone who is not Republican to vote in November.

The liberals made such a big deal of of this...gave it all they've got....when the losers have put that much into it...they are usually the one's that are demoralized and least likely to vote
...conservatives see what voting and winning means..so they are all on a high...and most likely to vote
The Dems energized the republicans. The house is still very doubtful but I think the GOP will keep the Senate. Which means... More justices and maybe one more SCOTUS?

I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself. A criminal trial is not the same thing as a job interview. This innocent until proven guilty standard does not apply unless someone is on trial for a crime, which Kavanaugh was not. No wonder Republicans have been so suckered by Trump. If they can't tell the difference between a trial and a job interview, they can believe anything anyone says.
A bit of twisted so-called logic here, methinks. Attempts to disqualify a stellar candidate for a job based solely on manufactured and baseless accusations, and character assassination ( actions routinely used by the left) still flies in the face of those who see those actions for exactly what they are.
