Now that Kvanaugh has been sworn in Swetnick can come forward and claim lie #1 was the real truth not lie #2. Her first mistake was hiring creepy porn lawyer if she wanted to be taken serious. Her 4 witnesses...2 won't talk, 1 is dead and #4 said who the hell is Swetnick.

She's upset I tell ya.

Quote:
Julie Swetnick on Sunday wrote that she was "disgusted and appalled" by the reaction to her uncorroborated claims last month that then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh engaged in systemic gang rapes decades ago.

Swetnick's allegations -- which key swing-vote senator Susan Collins, R-Maine, called "outlandish" on Friday -- have been cited by top Democrats and observers as so unbelievable that they might have undermined the credibility of other accusers, like California professor Christine Blasey Ford. Kavanaugh was confirmed by a 50-48 vote to the Supreme Court on Saturday.

"As a sexual assault victim, I am disgusted and appalled by the way that I have been re-victimized over the last 2 weeks after I had the courage to come forward," Swetnick said in a statement released by Michael Avenatti, an anti-Trump attorney who represents her. "I had every right to come forward and I literally placed my life in jeopardy to do so."

Is this the person who continued to go to these rape parties, knowing the punch was spiked?

If Swetnik is not investigated by the FBI and held accountable, that will be a real travesty of justice. She can whine about her victim status to her new cell-mate, whoever that is, should she be convicted at the end of that process.

I think so. She must have enjoyed watching or maybe she was in line somewhere if she went to all 10 as she stated.

Did you see her interview? Words cannot describe her craziness (yes they can but I'd be banned). No man will go near her again.

Right now it is conceivable that President Trump will appoint two more judges in his next six years if nothing changes. We have two, one 85 and one 80 that could easily retire in that time period. The big question is if the left is again going to prioritize the citizens of the US or are they going to continue on their current course. If they do decide to continue, same old/same old, they will lose any chance they have of winning and say over the next nominees. They can have all the temper tantrums they want; but that will not change their fate. They have show us that they have a better way and they are failing miserably!

My $.02, written a few minutes ago as the news came through:

Thank God: Kavanaugh is now confirmed, as of 16:01 EST! The Soviet-style clowning around, presumption of guilt BS from clearly deeply-disturbed and/or Far Left-backed accusers can now be tossed into the dustbin of history. A great man for the SCOTUS held fast, as did the Republicans and our President. I'm very proud of all today.

For all the misled who refused to examine that little, itty-bitty thing in this country called "due process", and "adherence to Constitutional principles," note that justice and, if you will, Lady Liberty won out in the end today. I watched the Thomas hearings as a kid in the 1980s and remember well the smear from that fraud, too, and how in the end was also unearthed as such with absolute steadfastness. The insanity of past week(s), and truly evil and Machiavellian (not to mention "tortured logic") comments from those on the other side backed by Far Left Marxists and Soviet-style revolutionaries, concerns me deeply.

We all should read the below by Jonah Goldberg of NR, whom I've always found fair at calling out excesses of either side. And this case is a whopper. Bottom line: If this is an "escalation of the Culture War," the sickos need to take your marbles and go home: the good guys won one today, thank God, and our duly-elected branches of government can now continue the great work (and results) begun January 2017. No longer is there a Politburo-style stamp for Left-wingers via our "Third Branch" (of govt). In fact, now is the time to start reviewing standing and new case law for adherence to the Constitution, not pushing some pervert agenda and bad (i.e. unconstitutional) law as started with the Warren court.

Excellent post. I watched the confirmation vote and am quite pleased. The screaming hyenas in the gallery which caused constant interruptions actually enhanced the moment and showed the absolute lunacy of the other side .

Trump: "Angry Mob" of "Radical Democrats" Has Become "Too Extreme And Too Dangerous To Govern"

"Just imagine the devastation they would cause if they of their obtained the power they so desperately want and crave," Trump added. "You don’t hand matches to an arsonist and you don’t give power to an angry left-wing mob, and that’s what they have become."

Trump then used Kavanaugh's example to illustrate why conservatives need to vote during the midterm elections in four weeks so that Democrats don't take back the House:

"You have to vote," Trump insisted. "On November 6 you will have the chance to stop the radical Democrats — and that’s what they have become — by electing a Republican House and a Republican Senate. We will increase our majorities. We need more Republicans. We need more Republicans."

"The Democrats have become too extreme and too dangerous to govern," Trump continued. "Republicans believe in the rule of law not the rule of the mob."

Pure fantasy and wishful thinking. He WAS at that party and DID assault her.

He just doesn't remember it.

It was, after all 36 years ago, he was only 17 y/o, very drunk, and has done that very same thing or close to it numerous times since - being the extremely heavy drinker he was in his youth.

He was plenty WILD at Yale - supported by the many "drinking buddies" that have come forward.
