The problem is it wouldn't work out that way...they'd swarm you, you'd get knocked down and then they'd try to stomp you to death. Meanwhile they'd scatter like fleas at the first sign of any police action and then none would ever be held accountable.

Or you'd wind up being the one charged instead. If you even survived.

lol @ the white guy calling another white guy "whitey". As someone else said it would make a great Portlandia skit.

Maybe someone can embed the tweet?

Isn't Oregon Open Carry?

My sidearm would be in my hand resting on the console....
Fearing for my life, would be proved with example #1 #2 #3
Wielding and intimidating strangers with a weapon in their hand.
That guy with the baton, would have either caught wind I was packing and backed off, or caught one for damaging my property and threatening me.
If they want a war. I'm their huckleberry!

The thing is that these commies are militant. They are supplied with gear to protect themselves from pepper spray and other defense weapons. There needs to be a banning of wearing masks.

It just pisses me off when right-wingers call antifa commies anarchists, when communism is the complete antithesis of anarchy. Antifa doesn't desire a stateless society; they want collectivist tyranny based on violence and coercion.

Humans are certainly wired toward anarchy; No_recess brought a great example awhile back of how when we were kids we settled our differences amongst ourselves without getting parents involved.

That was unbelievable--with the cop on a motorcycle watching. And the NEXT video was worse. They actually chased a man who ignored their "orders," and vandalized his car. It's time to send in the National Guard. Then part of me thinks this is what west-coast loons vote for.

B*%#&$ds.

That too. That's why overwhelming force is needed to deal with them. If the police won't do it the people should.

Anarchism is lawlessness and mob rule is the order of the day...not unlike communist systems.

The problem with anarchy is it leaves a vacuum for all kinds of bad actors to impose any kinds of systems they wish on others if they have the means to do so.

I think that's why most people intuit that anarchy is dangerous.

One of the articles I read stated it was a BLM and Antifa protest that authorities allowed. The protest was over the shooting death of Patrick Kimmons by the police last week.

Democrats have gone full flaming communist style socialist and have left the euro style socialism way behind in the dust. Hope the salvageable democrats are conscious and either abandon or remedy their hijacked party.

Nope. Anarchism isn't "lawlessness." Natural law exists with or without a State.

Cliched leftist argument.

Property rights are supreme, and may be defended with whatever means are necessary. Bad actors exist regardless, and most of them work for the State. The assumption that without a State, more bad actors would just spring up out of nowhere, is a logical fallacy.

Because people have been brainwashed by government schools into believing that self-rule is an impossibility. From day one kids are indoctrinated into statolatry.

It's extremely difficult--and scary--to fully realize that the mere existence of the State is a fiction and has no basis in reality. It's why conservatives are so frustrating; they understand the government serves no purpose other to enslave people, but are too weak and cowardly to do anything about it.
