If your are in amazing health and can't remember the last time you had a headache, then no wonder you don't care about health care. You never have need for it. I wish everybody could say the same.

Just think how much more affordable things would be if government wasn't involved in healthcare. Seriously.

Folks don't think taxes and regulations be like they are, but they do...

Every time a new regulation or tax comes forward... that's a cost burden.

The only thing I would support with government interference with health insurance, is a consumer protection act. You can not be dropped unless you don't pay your bill, and your bill/premium is not subject to be raised arbitrarily at an asinine rate.

That would be all I would support.
If you were sick with something before you had health insurance, too bad for the insurance company. They took you on at such and such a rate.

Nothing.

Get government out of health insurance and health care. Period. Go to how things once were.

Seriously there was nothing wrong with how health insurance was when I was going to college and the 2 years before ACA became law. There was nothing wrong with it what so ever. The health insurance provider I had.
4 free checkups/visits per year. After that was a 50 dollar copay per visit.
How was that not affordable?

10 dollar copay for prescription meds. Life saving to antibiotics.
Emergency room visit I could lop my arm off with a chainsaw and go in pay 90 dollars.
Specialists were 35-50 dollar copay per visit. So if you had diabetes or a heart problem, cancer etc. you would be forwarded to a specialist for 35-50 dollars.

Premium? 35 dollars per week out of my pocket.

That provider? Gone. Bought out by Blue Cross Blue shield.

If you couldn't afford that? You were unemployed.
And if you didn't want it, your taxes weren't subject to being withheld from you as a form of punishment.

Individual mandate is gone. So at least there is that.
And the ACA helped millions to have insurance. People die because they don’t have insurance. They can’t afford to go to a doctor or pay the high cost of prescriptions

Do I have to dig up and search high and low for an old health insurance card I had when I was 20-23 and look for the bills pre ACA and post ACA?

It helped millions get insurance? Pfft. If that's what you call insurance...

Prescriptions were SUPER affordable pre ACA.
My father was diabetic. He had it real bad. 300 units plus of insulin per day.
His out of pocket cost each time his prescription was filled?
55 dollars.

If he were younger... around my age, when ACA passed, he'd end up like one of my best friends that had juvenile diabetes. Broke trying to pay back college tuition and paying rent. Dude offed himself because he couldn't take working his ass off and having nothing to show for it. ACA was to blame.
He didn't qualify for any sort of financial assistance. He "made too much". 35k per year is too much? When you have 30% taken in NY state and federal taxes, 1k per month in rent, driving a 800 dollar Craigslist beater, and have student loans at 550 per month to fannie mae, asinine deductible to be met, 35k before taxes was "too much"?

I want our feeble leftist lemmings to realize one important thing.

ACA WAS A FRAUD! IT DIDN'T "TAX THE RICH" IT HIT THE MIDDLE CLASS IT ALWAYS HITS THE MIDDLE CLASS. HENCE WHY WE HAVE TRUMP, HE WANTS TO AT LEAST GET RID OF ACA

Your arguments for ACA are straight out of a health insurance corporatist mouth.
Yes plebs and serfs. This is a good thing. It will make you feel better that we rob you to pay for someone else. The wealthy will still be able to afford anything and everything. That life saving medicine you need, that operation you need, it's "out of network" and we won't cover it until your deductible for the year has been met. Enjoy your more expensive health insurance premiums! It's a good thing. Anyone who says different is an evil Republican.
