Because Monika Lewinsky was not sexual assault. She was a legal adult and everything was consensual.
First off you spelled her name wrong . Second , she recently said that his actions were an abuse of power . He was in office , and the U.S President is considered the most powerful person in the world by many or most .
So there is that . So should women only be listened to when they are accusing Republicans?

I wince when "the abuse of power" is mentioned. Remember that it was not until recently that Monica viewed it as abuse of power, thanks to MeToo now portraying her as a victim. But I grew up in the 60s and 70s when women were trying to come into their own sexually as well as every other way. It now reeks of paternalism to me that the older, wiser man should have known better and protected a young starstruck woman from herself. Yes, Monica was young when it happened (but of legal age). Would it have been less an abuse of power if she had been in her thirties or forties?
Would it have been so damaging to Monica (she now claims post traumatic stress disorder) if she had had sex with Clinton a few times and the media never heard about it? If not, then it wasn't the actual sex that caused her distress---it was the aftermath, which never would have happened if she hadn't initiated the flirtation and if she hadn't bragged about it to Linda Tripp. It would have been a fond memory that she could look back on.
Yes, Clinton was the most powerful man in the world. In fact, it was that power that was the aphrodisiac for Monica. Had they both been working at WalMart she most likely wouldn't have been interested in him sexually. I don't condone her values, but I support her agency in deciding who she wants to have sex with.
Geesh, years ago, young women threw themselves at rock stars. Again I don't share those values, but at least those groupies didn't cry about it after it happened. No one got post traumatic stress disorder from deciding to have sex, even when it wasn't a reflection of pure love or even lust.
