Does Snopes post peer reviewed science papers?
You don't know anything about the Skeptical Science website if you think it's no more credible than Snopes. This shows nothing but more refusal to look at the data from climate scientists based all over the globe. I know the reason is due to it flies in the face of your confirmation bias clinging beliefs.
Climate deniers are identical to the behaviors of creationists. No matter how much scientific evidence you put before them they won't look at it.
There is direct correlation between science illeratacy and climate deniers as well as creationists.

Anytime you are dealing with an online news article making any claims that science supposedly says...100% of the time the story is skewed and misrepresented. Most folks who are not well versed in science always fail to do their homework and verify the story. They just blindly believe the "fake" news.
Did you notice the quote mining tacit also used in the online news story you posted?
Let's break it down for you since you clearly need an education on discovering how to filter out the BS of what a scientist actually meant vs. how an online news article makes up it's own words such as wording a title to state "Scientists find evidence of global warming on Mars" and then quote mines the scientist words from the SwRI website.
Now lets pull up that SwRI news release that Dr. Isaac Smith spoke in and see if it jives with the "fake" news you posted.
SwRI SCIENTISTS DISCOVER EVIDENCE OF ICE AGE AT MARTIAN NORTH POLE
I read through the entire news release and it's not about "global warming" on Mars. In fact it does not contain the term "global warming" anywhere in the SwRI news release.
See how that works? You will never find an online news article that first quote mines a scientist and then tires to create an entirely different narrative from what the scientist intended his words to mean. Instead the news article makes up fake story to tie to the scientists words that they quote mined.
Do you know why these stories circulate? Because people like you don't know the first thing about being skeptical of BS claims. Instead you just read title of the online news article and run with it as if its the fact when it's not. What you did was intellectually lazy as well as well as intellectually dishonest.
It did not take me 2 seconds to look up the actual SwRi news release and read what Dr. Isaac Smith was talking about. Hint: He was not talking about "global warming" on Mars.

Newly published evidence suggests Mars is experiencing global warming as it emerges from an ice age.
The research was conducted using an instrument on board the NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter that allowed an unprecedented examination of “the most recent Martian ice age recorded in the planet’s north polar ice cap,” according to a NASA press release.

Dr. Smith never implied nor stated these words that you cut from the fake news article you linked.

And you wonder why Americans are scoffed at for not being scientifically literate as well as believing any news they find online.
I've just educated you on:
- The basics of how to be skeptical of an online news story.
- How to recognize quote mining tactics presented in online news stories
- How to conduct a 2 second search in looking up the actual News Release that Dr. Smith spoke in ,and seeing if it jives with the online news article that quote mined a scientist.
See how easy that is?
