I’m curious: is the rate of enrollment declining for American men, or are they just no longer the majority because the enrollment rates for other demographics have increased? That’s where data would come in handy.

Are universities intentionally discriminating against men?

These are videos of classes at universities and there is like one token men on each video providing his perspective and the rest is women.

Seems like the female perspective is the only one that matters in college focus groups, only one men or no men allowed to provide perspective.
This has been going on for a long time. There are now many more women getting college degrees than men. I think the last time it was 50-50 was in the early 80's.

I take that back, it's more like the late 80's.

Although this one says the switch occurred sometime a little before 1980:

Regardless, as I said, it's been going on quite a while.

Young men saw that GWB and Obama graduated from college. They said, "well, if they can graduate from college, then anyone can, so what's the point?" Saved them and their parents a ton of coin.

Boy, can't argue with brilliant logic like that. I mean, that's at least 500 people, there, right?

You bet they are.

Men, (especially white men) are intentionally discriminated against in admissions to most colleges because of the racist programs like affirmation action, which gives preference to everyone but them. White women also do not get the same chance as twofers (i.e. minority women, except yellow women who are also discriminated against)

Still you have to give girls going to college for legitimate fields of study credit, as they tend to be more mature and focused coming out of HS. Thus they deserve it and tend to flourish sooner than boys. It takes until about 20 or so for boys to get the mush in their brain to solidify.

As to why our society is lagging behind with boys in college is a troubling question that runs deeper than just special set asides/quotas.
We had better figure it out, as our former great male minds that help put us on the moon (and the like), will be needed to keep pace with other cultures.
