I was hoping for the more believable "dismembered in a tragic hand dryer accident."
Tomorrow morning, Trump will probably be all like: "Well, that settles it for me! No more questions...we're dealin'!"

"President Donald Trump said Friday that he believes Saudi Arabia's explanation for the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and called the arrest of 18 Saudis "a good first step."
The Saudi Arabian government announced Friday that Khashoggi died after a fistfight at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, and that 18 Saudis had been arrested for further investigation while Deputy Director of Saudi Intelligence Ahmed al-Assiri had been dismissed.
"I do. I do," Trump said when asked about his confidence in the explanation..."
Probably my biggest disappointment in Trump is how pro-Saudi he is. I especially don't like that we sold them so many weapons. I can't imagine that we will really punish Saudi..no matter what they do. The neocons (and neolibs) wouldn't stand for it...we will stay pro-Saudi anti-Iran/Assad/Russia no matter what and no matter which party is in power.
Fist fight gone bad... 15 against 1. Bad indeed.
Not to mention the bone saw second if the first 14 went down.
Trump will spit it out over the next weeks and somehow the democrats will be to blame.

We let Israel Kill far more than 1 US citizen and get away with it. I can think of 1 incident alone that killed 34 US citizens and wounded 171 others.
We let Libyans kill 4 former Navy SEALs and a US Citizen. Were you upset with Obama and Clinton when they not only did nothing to help but lied about why it happened?

See I have it on good authority that this is how it really went down.
Khassogi showed up, intent upon attacking the Saudi royal chipper shredder. The royal chipper shredder guards simply tried to restrain a very disagreeable Khassogi, He then tripped and fell in. It was all a regrettable accident. His last words are rumored to have been "you will miss me when I am gone."
You see no big deal it was an accident.

I agree. A Saudi owned Faux "news" along with a potential rapist, yet people still follow that garbage.

So what do you want, to simply say " Oh, thank you for such a thorough , fast investigation, and congratulations on solving this murder so quickly !" How about us having some courage, for a change, and showing the Saudis we are not simply interested in the things they might buy from us, and we are above that ?
This is a disgrace ! The Saudis will march out people they say did this on their own, the King will watch them being chopped to pieces in front of him, and Trump will consider it a done deal !
We knew that Trump was never going to do a damn thing about this, they have already started to make negative comments about Khashoggi being not a good person, so what did we expect ?

Oh stop the phony outrage. Thousands are dying in Yemen & Syria, you people couldn't care less. Saudi Arabia publicly beheaded dozens of people each year that Obama was in office, not a peep from you phonies. Your new found outrage is nothing more than a political ploy & anyone with a brain sees right through it.
Such a simple thing to return or at least explain what happened to Khashoggi's body. Why would you have a problem with that? Or for the Trump administration to even ask about it? Strange. Also, I have denounced the slaughter in Yemen in several posts.
