The crown prince should be sanctioned and the US should make it clear he's a poor choice for a successor. Offering the low level goons up for sacrifice is just trying to pass the buck.

He only had the murder committed because of weak US leadership. The guys nationality isn't the key, he was working for a US newspaper speaking out about Saudi Arabia (the place all the 9/11 hijackers came from but we keep ignoring that).

Our concern should be US citizens in foreign countries. If we butted in every time a foreign government killed a non-US citizen, that's all we'd spend our time doing.
We should not butt into their own affairs but we should not monetarily support them either which we do.
If it is now policy to not butt in, then the state can never again use the human rights abuses performed by other countries as part of their war propaganda machine as a pretext to war with them.

We can also remove our tag line of spreading freedom and democracy and upholding justice in other countries.

I'll bet the victims that died on 911 are rolling in their graves when we went after everyone but the masterminds behing 911 that bank rolled it all. THE HOUSE OF SAUD.

Even to this day, these same masterminds are still arming and equipping Al Queda with American made weapons.

Trump was formally briefed by the CIA this morning. Apparently US intelligence has credible and tangible evidence that the Royal Prince was DIRECTLY involved.

Aides close to Trump say he is still skeptical that the Crown Prince was involved.

Facts: remember that the Trump family has done business with the Saudi royal family to the tune of TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

very, very interesting to see what Trump says about this situation in public the next time he's asked about it. Pretty big conflict of interest as the royal family he did business with in the past is now under great scrutiny from United States intelligence community and American politicians, both Republicans and Democrats.

Have any City-Data Trump supporters weighed in on this issue recently?

Who do you believe:

the Central Intelligene Ageny and the reportedly 18 career special agents that worked on this case?

Or

do you side with Trump and remain skeptical and question the US intelligence community?

Trump supporters, where do you stand?

After the CIA briefed Trump today that they believe the Crown Prince was involved in the Khashoggi murder....

Trump's official statement via the State Dept is that the report was "inaccurate."

Donald Trump and State Department not convinced/dont believe CIA allegation that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia was directly involved in Khashoggi killing.

CIA presented a "mountain of evidence."

REMEMBER: the Saudi Royal family is friends and business partners of the Trump family. So Trump formally blaming them for the murders would complicate their relationship.

Trump says he doesn't want to hear audio of Khashoggi killing 'because it's a suffering tape'

So. He admits there's a tape. Is he going to do anything about it?
