Republicans doing republican things.

Brian Kemp is running against a black woman for governor, and 70% of the new 53,000 registered voters are African-Americans.

The truth is that a law in GA requires voter registrations to match state, or federal records. If the voter registration paperwork doesn't match the state records, the applicant has 24 months to correct the discrepancies.

If these people want to vote, they just need to correct the discrepancies in their paperwork.

Complete, and total thread fail.

So what’s the full story?

Oh, wait, I know.

The 53,000 currently on hold represent only a tiny number of voter registrations this candidate, who clearly has a conflict of interest, has messed with.

“Kemp, the top elections official in Georgia, has also come under fire for cancelling 1.4 million Georgia voter registrations since he took office in 2012.”

What is it with Republicans? They really seem to think they need assistance to win. Gerrymandering, voter suppression, whatever underhanded tricks they have up their sleeves--they will use. Rick Scott has a hand in voter suppression as well. Do they believe they cannot win fair and square?

Gosh. Maybe we should go out and lecture another country again on 'free and fair' elections.

I did see a Republican strategist say . . they should have put someone else in charge of that - it's like the fox guarding the henhouse.

Its hilarious watching the dems on here ignore reality to push a false narrative that they are somehow being cheated.

If these people want to vote, all they need to do is correct the discrepancies in their paperwork.

The thread title should be, "Why won't 53,000 people correct the discrepancies in their paperwork?".
