A thread initiated because his news station didn’t zoom out “showing the real story” and it’s a conspiracy. I have seen devastating pictures where several communities were wiped out down to the ground. Michael was in the top 5 in low pressure records and one of the few to move inland as a Cat 3 yet the Op thinks this was contrived.

Yes, by the liberal media.

You live in a vacuum, get your information from a vacuum, your brain becomes a vacuum.

WTH are you even talking about? You seriously don’t know about Panama City? Get educated before you post.

I’m assuming that the op is a Trump supporter which of course would make sense seeing he/she has no clue to what they are talking about.

I feel bad for the victims of this storm, first the storm itself then comes the swarm of low IQ authoritarians that won't let them go back to their houses.
What did you expect from a Class 4 hurricane? That storm was blowing at 155 Miles Per Hour, for God's sakes!
The storm surge from those winds was blowing up 14 feet of surf!

That kind of power is too much to capture on a TV screen in a few seconds. There aren't hundreds of houses that are 'just fine' in Mexico Beach. The storm wiped that town out. To really see the damage would require looking at hours of video.

How in hell is a hurricane 'fake news'? What are you trying to do- deny that it happened? Let me set you straight. It happened, for real, and it's worse than you think it is. Mexico Beach may never recover from the damage.

Anyone who thinks a cat 4 hurricane is just going to wet things down a bit isn't playing with a full deck.

People interviewed who decided to ride it out said they'd never in a million years go through that again. Arial shots are just terrible to look at in depicting the devastation caused.

Putting yourself in just one person's shoes who's lost everything would be a valuable exercise for these boobs attempting to score political points for one side or the other.

What needs to happen now is everyone to put aside the petty bickering and give whatever they can to whatever relief program they choose to. It will all be needed.

As an aside; Wilma was upgraded after the fact to a Cat 5 and many meteorologists think this will also be upgraded after further assessment.
Wilma has always been a cat 5 but was a cat 2 when it hit Fla. I believe you are thinking of Andrew. It was initially rated as a cat 4 but was later upgraded to a cat 5. I believe that come post analysis, Michael will also be upgraded to a cat 5.

I know this is from CNN so the op probably won't believe it, but it shows before and after photos with a nifty bar that slides back and forth over the pics.

I saw the videos from Mexico Beach, and no fake news there. And why would anyone assume fake news from a natural disaster? Humans suck.

OP is a conservative. OP proclaims hurricane Michael is fake news. No other conservative speaks up against OP, which is indication that they agree. Therefore, we must conclude that all conservatives think hurricane Michael is fake news. After all, if any conservative at all think otherwise, surely they would have spoken up by now.
