More fake news. All ethics complaints are investigated. Before they would have been assigned to the head judge on the DC circuit. Now that he is a Supreme they are handled by the head judge, Roberts, who delegated them the the eighth circuit.
Where is the fake news? Did Roberts request an investigation? Even you admit that he did, which is what I said in my OP. So, what's fake?

Chief Justice Roberts has always been very concerned about the integrity of his court. The right-leaning majority the right has been celebrating might be a figment of their imagination.
My understanding is that politically and ideologically motivated complaints were lodged against Kavanaugh, and therefore Robert's was obligated to forward them to another court.
This will wind up to be much to do about nothing, but that will never stop the foaming at the mouth Democrats.
The (D's) keep playing these games and sinking to new lows. So don't be surprised if this comes back to bite them, just like with the so called "Biden Rule" & Harry Reid's "Nuclear Option".
I will bet leftists cheered when those fools pulled those tactics, but recently they have been in tears because of them.

Heaven forbit they could actually be worried that having a nominee for the Supreme Court lashing out at George Soro's financing the campaign against him when Kavanaugh had dark money of his own pushing for his success and likely financing some of the efforts behind his pal's Ed Whelen's doppleanger story and the help from the media company behind the Swift Boat campaigns
Or that Kavanaugh was promising vindictive behavior--"what goes around comes around" is one thing he said
He was over the top and way out of bounds--

And for what it's worth if you replay that film of Kavanaugh's Thursday testimony, I think you can see more froth on HIS mouth than any of the Dems--and certainly not on Dr. Ford's....

Too at like the Republicans are politicians of virtue is laughable. The party that rammed this in prior to the November midterms were the same ones who denied Obama hearings on Garland citing an issue that was never heard of in the what 220 years of a constitutional Republic that is the United States of America. McConnell was called on this because in 1988 lame duck Reagan got Kennedy on and McConnell voted to confirm Kennedy.
