On a board littered with posters who can see no wrong in President Trump there is a reason you have seen little support for your position. It's because you are giving credit where credit is not due. The SS increase is directly tied to the rate of inflation. If you are going to credit Trump for it you also need to blame him for increasing inflation.

Here you go, lets put a wall between generations. The GOP trying to payoff the rich and hurt those who have the most need for support.

And Republicans were vehemently and passionately against both of those programs. Quotes from republican members of congress at that time show they portrayed it as the end of America, socialism was here and it would destroy everything that was good about the America.
