If the left didn't come here to complain about Trump, what else would they do on their Saturday night?

Talk about a MOB. These events are the definition of them.
Yeah, why is this not all lumped together in one thread? He has had 7 rallies recently and is always the same, as if he has just remained in one location. What goes through these people's minds? It's as if they have been programmed to reflect back to him whatever he wants. It's so abnormal.

Donald Trump was in my town last night speaking at the Warren County fairgrounds, the building only held 4000 but has no vertical walls and there was a massive crowd watching from outside. I was able to hear everything from my front porch, it was the first presidential visit since George W. Bush came here in 2004.

Hmmmm....

Aren't you reflecting on it too?

Don't try to fool us. You both know these Trump rallies are massive. Overflowing crowds everywhere he goes. This just happened in Ohio & Pennsylvania too. States now lost to the Democrats.

Of course this doesn't match up with Planet Claire the MSM likes to spin about America. My advice, quit believing them without question.
Yeah; no.

Here's what I believe. I believe Trump is a massive liar; and you carry his water for him every day.

No one camped outside overnight and Trump just vomited out another whopper to justify not cancelling another 'rally'.

People know what he’s up against and want to show their appreciation and support for what he is doing for the American People.

You should quit making things up so people can take you seriously at least once in a while. News reports from Lexington said people were there outside waiting from the previous night. You can look it up yourself but you won't want to.
As far as Trump being a liar, he's certainly no worse than your girl the Hildebeast but you never had a problem carrying her water when she was cheating in the debates and pretending to have a Southern accent when it suited her, but we don't need to remind you about that do we?

News reports from Lexington said the exact opposite.

Trump is a liar the likes of which this country has ever seen. Hillary is a novice compared to the easily disproven lies that Trump tells every single day.

Another massive crowd of fools lined up to hear the Narcissist-in-Chief rerun the same speech he's done 50 times! There's a sucker born every minute.

Lots of comments from people from outside the area who know little about it.

Madison County, Kentucky, is purple. It contains both Richmond, where the rally was held on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University (while students and staff protested), and Berea, home to traditionally liberal Christian Berea College. Richmond is about twenty miles south of Lexington, a very blue city that is home to the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and other institutions of higher learning. However, much of Madison County is agricultural, and the manicured thoroughbred horse farms are a county to the north, not there.

Southeastern Madison County also includes the westernmost ridges of the Appalachian foothills, but this is not coal country or deep Appalachia. Most of the county is rolling, open land with occasional woods here and there, other than the mountains just south and east of Berea, twelve miles south of Richmond.

So who lives and works there? Lots of people with widely diverging views, education levels, and interests. There were representatives of all those views last night from people within the general and immediate area, but many additional people came from much farther away - as far as Georgia, sadly, a family with a ten-year-old who stated that this was her eighteenth Trump rally. And that's what she called it: not a visit in support of the local Republican now in office - Garland Hale Barr, IV, who likes to de-preppify his name to "Andy" - but a Trump rally. I assume the child must be homeschooled...

There were also hundreds of lively but civil protestors demonstrating their concerns and their First Amendment rights. They got there early, too.

The venue does not hold anywhere near the vast numbers some have claimed in this thread. For events, seating is around 6,500, though with floor seating, up to around 8,000 can be accommodated. I have read that the site was filled and others were outside, but there were certainly nowhere anywhere near the 50,000 some have claimed. Didn't happen.

Trump seems to have given his standard speech, perhaps a little less outrageously than usual, though he did refer to the mannerly protesters as "the Mob", a very deliberate use of that term to disassociate it from his own shady history with the Russian mob in this country, I would wager.

Many less-well-informed people in areas like mine have no clue about any of his past and current questionable associations, financial issues, bankruptcies, personal history (womanizing is brushed off as the women lying or "asking for it"), much less the associations with Russian-sympathizing Ukrainian oligarchs, the bro-mances with Putin and Kim, and much more. They think of him as a TV celebrity and a great and wealthy businessman who put aside his own interests to serve them and our county, when of course he is none of these things other than a second-rate showman.

It just doesn't resonate with many simpler minds, and they continue to chant "lock her up" "build the wall", and of course "Trump Trump Trump", somehow seeing this deeply flawed, shallow, inadequate man as their savior who understands them and who will advocate for them. If you try to respectfully bring up some of these concerns (admittedly trying to keep the presentation very simple), they revert to Hillary and Obama.

They just don't get it. Poorly educated, they grasp at memes - love America, make it great again, wave the flag, melodramatic, bold (false) accusations...might as well be Saturday night wrestling on the off-channels. And just about as real, but they don't see it.

Thankfully, many of Kentucky's younger citizens do question, as do many of us baby boomers, who remember Watergate (this is worse than Watergate, of course) and who learned more about how our government of checks and balances is supposed to work back then. So we are speaking out.

Things Trump lied about last night: Democratic candidate Retired Marine Lt Col. Amy McGrath and her positions. Terming Democrats - not just protestors, ALL Democrats - "The Mob". Coal coming back. Local economy thriving (both Trane in Lexington and Hitachi in nearby Harrodsburg announced abrupt closings in the last two weeks, throwing over 10,000 employees out of work) while 150 Head Start employees were laid off in the area due to federal cutbacks). Local incomes increasing - no, last time mine took a big jump was under Clinton.

And I haven't read everything he claimed yet. Can't stomach that big a serving of bilge; have to take in a little at a time along with anti-acids.

It is so sad to see ill-educated, ill-informed and gullible people supporting this con-man, traitor, and liar at the cost of their own best interests and the best interests of the vulnerable within their own families, particularly the children, the elderly, and the disabled, given the large numbers of already poorly provided for kids, old folks, and disabled people in my beautiful, hard-pressed state...
