They reach new lows but they continue in that direction not knowing what else to do. Like a drug addict they have to hit bottom before they can decide to make a change and join decent society again. That could take years and then more years in rehab. We can pity them without becoming their enablers.
Tough love maybe be the best way forward. It may feel like a hammer at times but when they act like nails its still a good choice.
This kind of post really disheartens me. When did people with opposing views become the enemy. Why would you even insult them. You have your view point and they have theirs. Why is that a problem with you.

Anytime the GOP does something the left is "disheartened".
What they have been saying is stand aside and let us take power. No fighting back b/c that's not fair. They say, we deserve to lead even when we don't win elections. They want to represent 3rd world populations. Voters who are stupid enough to vote for them knowing they won't be represented is a more recent development. Its way beyond "disheartened". Its insanity !!!

Keep in mind, we celebrate historic patriots for events like the Boston Tea Party, it was basically a group of people who stole property, and destroyed it, because they didnt agree with the taxes or the 'politics' of the monarchy in power at the time!!

Funny thing, If some of these people were alive back then, I think they would have been calling for the people responsible to be caught and prosecuted for what they did!! LOL
