She's not NDN. There is no proof that she has any NDN ancestry. None. Zip. Zero. Nada.
True.
Quote:
Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. issued the following statement Monday in response to Senator Elizabeth Warren’s DNA test claiming Native Heritage:
"A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person’s ancestors were indigenous to North or South America," Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. "Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation. Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven. Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage."
A politician lied? Well knock me down with a feather. Warren needn't worry that the cat is out of the bag as her loyal teamates will continue to defend and support her. People really are that stupid.
Correct. The average European-American has .18% Amerindian DNA.
The Cherokee tribe (which she claimed to have ancestry from) has not provided a DNA database. This is why the professor who completed the tests matched her DNA to Mexican, Peruvian, and Colombian DNA. It was the closest, most likely match to what is suspected to be Native American DNA.
As I stated, no one in her grandmother's family tree appears to have been Native American back to 1700s.
And her relatives in Tennessee, helped to round up the Cherokee and put them on the Trail of Tears.
Still doesn't make her NA. African Americans and the vast majority of slave descendants in the Americas have European ancestry. Can we call ourselves white? That would be a monumental stretch.
trump said he's welshing. Won't donate 1 million to charity even though Warren won the bet he proposed.
What a lying, small handed little man he is.
So Sad.
Multi-millionaire Warren should donate $1 million to the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center for using Native Americans to advance her personal goals. She never was, is not today, and never will be Native American. What's sad, but totally predictable, is how many of you defend her.

Donald Trump is the one who derisively tagged her, Pocahontas. Her story is that her mom told the family of an ancestor who was Native American. Members of her family through the generations assumed this was a part of their history. ( As do many Oklahomans) Elizabeth Warren and former employers and multiple others have, numerous times, debunked the campaign smear against her regarding her utilizing this for special privileges. She did not. One institution used it on their brochure for their advantage to claim diversity, supposedly, once they learned of her ancestry.
Then the president after lying about this, mocking her and disrespectfully referring to a US Senator only by this name, issues a challenge on national TV involving a DNA test and a million dollars. DNA test reveals she has a Native American ancestor. He lecherously changes the rules following her win after first denying the whole thing. What a jerk.
