All the Democrats need to do is get half of congress, and Trump is neutered. He'll do far more damage to the R brand by twisting in the wind for two years than he ever would as a martyr who got impeached.
Look at Kavanaugh. The base supports an accused sexual predator over having a proper investigation because it came from the other side. They're saying Mattis is a democrat in defense, even though he was bounced for being too extreme by Obama, just because Cheeto says so. Let the mushroom dry in the sun and block his legislation, and counter his executive orders with proper legislation, and move on from this depressing time in American history.

I agree, but the investigation was a sham in return. Of course if the committee didn't start playing games by withholding documents, and then a massive dump without time to review. The whole Kavanaugh process was far from a shining light for the entire government. Lots of blame to go around, and as they say, good people, both sides.

EXACTLY, THOSE FASCIST CREEPS STARTED IT! Since Kavanagh is a PROVEN PERJURER he should have been removed from District court years ago, and he perjured himself when he lied under oath about the legal drinking age in Maryland, so the Dems could impeach his sorry butt!
If I recall correctly there were similar noises made when Democrats won the house in 2006, with W. Bush still in office. But Nancy Pelosi put the kibosh on it. Let's leave the endless and insipid investigations (Benghazi) on the right side of the aisle where they belong.
I heard somewhere that Rep Jerrold Nadler (D, NY), who will be Judiciary Chair if D's win the house, plans to investigate whether Kavanaugh lied under oath about fart references in his H.S. yearbook. Really? If they do this, it's guaranteed that the GOP will take back the house in 2020.
The good news is that the windstorm will clear away all the flatulence, so that Jerrold Nadler will no longer need to investigate.
