Leftists have long known that if they wanted to claim all power for the Super State that they worship, they had to get rid of the Family. The Family is the natural enemy of the Super State.

I find it rich that the left have become the latest incarnation of mccarthyism. Talk about trading places on a whim to bend to the extreme minority. They abandoned the middle class and the family unit, now they are abandoning due process and Constitutionality all together.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if 2018 becomes 2016 v2.0.

Interesting article. You should read it! I'd say the definition of 'family' has changed. Most of the out of wedlock births occur in relationships.
Not sure why you think this cultural shift is because the 'leftist' (what does that mean to you?) want some sort of 'Super State.' Again, read the article. I don't think you understood it.
This is a cultural change and even though many of those out of wedlock births may be within relationships, those relationships are typically less stable.
The facts are the facts and the fact is that a baby born out of wedlock has a much higher chance of being premature, having developmental and behavioral problems, growing up without a father and ending up with terrible results.
That's not PC, but it is the reality. We should encourage people to get and remain married and have children in wedlock for the best possible outcomes. Single motherhood and out of wedlock births should not be encouraged.
I said it was the latest of many examples that the family is dead.
