"Caravans" happen routinely. Tens of thousands have walked across the border since trump started whining about a few thousand.
Did tens of thousands cross the border all at once? This is the largest caravan that has ever come all at once with a couple of smaller ones right behind it.
I still fail to see what Trump's actions have to do with the mid term elections. Republicans will still come out and vote in the same numbers regardless of this caravan.
No amnesty. Legalization. Let it sit 10 or 12 years. Than we see. Avoids any claim it is a democrat voter promotion. Eventual citizenship for most is likely but we can hold it off so it is not an issue.
No thanks.
Secure the border so they stop coming in. End birthright citizenship for illegal aliens (people that broke the law and do not belong in the country), make it so they don't have incentive to come. Mandate everify, fine employers, make it so nobody wants to hire illegals. ICE can continue capturing and deporting those already here, some will self deport, some will continue living in the shadows like the law breakers they are.
I thought we lived in a nation that has gone long and far against bullying, and discriminating against disabled people?
Have we not spent the past two years listening to liberals lambast Trump for what appeared to be an off-the-cuff mocking of a disabled person?
And now we have a network television show actually writing a discriminating joke against a disabled man into their script, and people are wondering why the backlash?
Legalization of illegal aliens is the same as amnesty. It's forgiving them and rewarding them for entering, residing and working in our country illegally.

Your link has absolutely nothing to do with the coyotes/human traffickers that the migrants are paying. Not a thing. Are you trying to claim coyotes/human smugglers don't exist and don't demand large sums to smuggle people?
I do agree that it's a lot of money that they could use to survive on in their own countries. If I remember correctly, many of them basically indenture themselves, or their kids, to the traffickers, probably paying their bill over many years or maybe even the rest of their lives.
The biggest thing that I don't get is that they have pulled together to form a massive caravan to make an extremely dangerous trip.... why can't they pull together just like that to go after the gangs in their countries? Their sheer numbers would certainly overwhelm any of the gangs and those gang members would probably flee the country rather than go up against 7000+ angry people. It can't be because of the danger since they have placed themselves in danger to make the trip, with serious illnesses, injuries and deaths happening to some of them.
They are not breaking our laws when they apply for asylum and anyone willing to walk for 3 months with a child to escape violence and try to improve their life is welcome in my neighborhood anytime. With a low unemployment rate they`ll be able to work and pay their own bills.
Mexico offered them asylum and jobs. Turning them down should definitely disqualify them from seeking asylum in the US.
