I think the adults will step in if Trump goes off the rails, which he appears to be in the process of doing. That would be his first step toward dictatorship. It is not happening.
Trump is still sulking about everything. He needs attention and he needs to play big man.

It's not going to happen. More idle threats from Trump.
He's already done it once and will do it again where and if necessary. Unlike other politicians Trump does much of what he says he will do. He hasn't given up on keeping criminals out of the US.
