If the Democratic Party wants to gain political relevance again in America, they will need to nominate Kamala Harris for President of the United States in 2020.

California Sen. Kamala Harris can recreate the Obama coalition that was disbanded in 2016 when the white working class voters left the Democratic Party to Trump.

Kamala has charisma.

Kamala wins:

*Black voters
*Latino voters
*College educated affluent suburban white women
*A sliver of the white working class

Kamala could potentially do it.

Kind of sad, though, that you say nothing about her views or experience.

It implies that Americans are awfully superficial.

When I hear Kamala taking the fight to the opponent I think of this, Kamala wrestler.

But senator Kamala to me has a trampy sounding voice.

A democrat AND a Californian?
Nope, I would not vote for her!
If that makes me "superficial", so be it!

By that time the white suburban women might find themselves isolated, realizing that no one of that coalition is looking at them as "women," but rather as "white." Then they'll know where they really stand!

Don't count on it. She might get a third of them.

And she's a Coastie from California. That's not going to go over well with those in middle-America who voted Trump because they get ignored by the coastal elite.

Kamala is a right wing politician.

She spent her entire career locking innocence up in California while never questioning corporate powers. How democrats can respect this evil woman is beyond me.
