He wasn't joking when he promised to pay the legal bills of supporters that attacked protesters at his rallies. And he wasn't joking when he encouraged violence against the media
You sure? You have a sworn affidavit showing that Trump claims he wasn't kidding?
“Any guy that can do a body slam, he’s my kind of — he’s my guy,” Trump said as he openly praised Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-Mont.) for assaulting a reporter last year.
This, may I add, as the world is watching the events surrounding the gruesome murder of a reporter.
Another headline for you. Humorless liberal twits triggered by humor at a political rally.
If this is humor, you have a warped sense of it. Since when is the president of the U.S. condoning bodily violence such an honorable trait to have? And yes, it is a headline, and needs to continue to be a headline, along with the murder of Khashoggi. Trump's calling the media the enemy of the people just gives more impetus to murderous dictators and rulers to use force to silence them. Can you imagine the outrage if Obama had gotten up at a rally and applauded the assault of a Fox News reporter by a Democrat?
Physically assaulting anyone, including reporters, is far worse than expressing oneself via free speech by verbally challenging politicians, be it in a restaurant or anywhere else.
I hope the reporter presses charges. Isn't that assault?
You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for.
Civil? So body slamming reporters is acceptable now? Really? And Trump applauding it is equally acceptable? God I hope not. I hope the reporter presses charges.
Not promoting violence. Promoting situational awareness. There's a difference.
Body slamming is violence, no matter how you spin it. WTF?
