A super PAC’s outlandish new ad for an Arkansas Republican used Brett M. Kavanaugh’s plight to argue that Democrats could bring back lynchings against black men. It was quickly and widely denounced — including by the congressman it was designed to support.
Just in case you were wondering if there was any bottom on how vile the GOP can get, nope, here's proof there isn't.
Quote:
The radio ad was created by a group calling itself Black Americans for the President’s Agenda to support Rep. French Hill in his reelection campaign against Democrat Clarke Tucker
But the left says that black people don't support the Republican party.
What a conundrum. Who are you more upset at? The black folks who made this claim, or the GOP who denounced it.
Hmmm, which way will the left go.
Quote:
The ad takes the form of a conversation between two black women discussing the sexual misconduct allegations levied against Kavanaugh, claiming that his treatment was a sign that the presumption of innocence had turned into the presumption of guilt in the United States.
“If the Democrats can do that to a white justice of the Supreme Court,” one of the women says, “what will happen to our husbands, our fathers, or our sons, when a white girl lies on them?”
The second woman replies: “White Democrats will be lynching black folk again.”
She adds later:
“We can’t afford to let white Democrats take us back to bad old days of race verdicts, life sentences and lynchings when a white girl screams rape.”
I'm just so shocked that you didn't include any of this information. /sarc

I can see where that will work up some Democrats.
BTW, the radio station had absolutely no problem running it.

"used Brett M. Kavanaugh’s plight to argue that Democrats could bring back lynchings against black men."
Everyone must believe a woman when she points her finger, even if there is no proof -- is what Dems say. Yeah, not too long ago black men were hung because of that. The PAC just got it wrong by saying "black" men, they should have just said "men". The Dems new and improved Jim Crow Era Part Deux: All men are guilty until proven innocent, and even if proven innocent they will still be thought of as guilty.

I explained that to my sons as well - regarding the presumption of innocence... not the lynching.
My whole point was that you have to leave from for the truth. There may be a day in the future when somebody accuses you of something, and you are going to want the truth to protect you. But if you toss aside the truth in this case, don't complain when you are accused of something you didn't do, and people don't believe you.
