Nobody is saying its the Third World (well, there are parts of LA where you wouldn't know it from Tijuana)...its developed, but it has the politics and income inequality of feudal Europe.
The one's flocking out of California are the one's making about 40 G's a year or less they can't afford to buy a house.
Some perhaps but also lots of people making mid six figures leave too, all the time. I know several that have all gone up to Idaho just this year alone!
They paid cash for their house that is twice as big and twice as nice but half the price. LOL.
I'm wondering what will happen in CA now that state taxes can no longer be fully deducted from federal income tax (due to the Trump 2017 tax cut bill).
I'm guessing there will be massive pressure from both Hollywood and Silicon valley to dial back state taxes.
Actually everyone will just get squeezed until this bubble pops like a big liberal zit. Taxes will never be lowered here..in fact they will go up, a LOT...probably 20% in the next couple years, but 100 percent in the next ten years. The gas tax repeal is failing as we speak, because the AG and SOS managed to write a totally misleading description of it on the ballot (Which they already had to retract, not that it will help people vote properly LOL).

Remember when Calif aggressively raised the minimum wage and righties said unemployment was going to skyrocket and businesses close? Wrong. Unemployment went down and GDP went up.

So many people flee California and head to other states because of taxes, cost of living, and corrupt liberal politicians.
I wonder if one real reason it's a "failed" state might be because long ago, California voters decided that they didn't want to pay higher taxes.
That's what happens if it's more important to you to hoard your money, versus paying for a functioning society.
Some people need to put a roof over their head and food on the table while you want to take their money and give it to people who don't want to work.
