Ha ha ha... right wingers have been predicting California's death for the last 20 years!
Remember when they said California was the next Greece? Wrong.
Remember when Calif aggressively raised the minimum wage and righties said unemployment was going to skyrocket and businesses close? Wrong. Unemployment went down and GDP went up.
LOL, righties have been dead wrong about California's excellent economy year after year after year.
What was anyone wrong about?
The state has become less livable every year..the predictions are spot on...some of the details might be off but overall the predictions are exactly what was predicted. A failed state that is heading towards a society with no middle class.
Nobody is questioning the physical state of CA. It's the politics and people that have to live with it. Post some pictures of the human faces I have to walk over daily in DTLA.
Housing is so expensive in here because people want to move here and NIMBY'ism is so common here. The combination of the two is creating this crises. Other than that this is the best state I ever lived in. Love it.
I’m watching this John Cox interview now , really good . There is video but you can listen to the audio too .
I’d encourage anyone to listen to him speak directly even if you aren’t a Republican .
The stakes are really high and there are really big issues , if Newsom wins it’ll be a continuation of the status quo
