Say a requirement for voting was you had to have an IQ of at least 100 and have at least a Bachelor's degree in something?

The Democrats will claim that the IQ test is racist and that you were racist for even suggesting it... And I am not being sarcastic....

Well...we already have people with IQs of at least 100 and have at least a bachelor's degree who make poor choices when they vote. I'm talking about those, who like an automaton, vote the straight party line without a thought. These people live in a bubble and don't have a clue.

Nah. An IQ test won't help.

Sorry, but the IQ+college degree is stupid in itself. I've met lots of people who have no college degree, but are smarter than average. A typical liberal arts degree today is more indoctrination than education.
Instead, we could go back to the standards in place in 1800. Men only, and only property owners.

There would be very few Republicans in office.

Its not the Republicans claiming that their voters that are so dumb that they cannot figure out how to get some kind of voter ID.

But seriously, you can agree or disagree with both parties on quite a number of issues. But what I cannot figure out is why anybody would vote for a political party that would deliberately want to flood their own country with masses of uneducated poor people to compete with millions of Americans already living in poverty. That is plain STUPID.

Even an idiot can get a degree. Just look at some of the players in the NFL & NBA. A majority of my employer’s workforce have university degrees and yet some of them, outside their field of study/work, are complete and utter idiots.

What I would like is a voting population with at least a basic knowledge of the three branches of US government, the duties and responsibilities of each branch as defined by the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and an understanding of why we have an electoral college for presidential elections. These are all things everyone graduating from high school SHOULD know before graduating. Unfortunately too many “graduates” are completely ignorant of these things as well as basic knowledge of US History if it doesn’t apply to recent celebrities.

Democrats would finally build a southern wall big enough to see from space, since they have no need for illegal immigration.

Agreed as long as it includes tax paying property owners only.
