I can see (since it's a childrens party) to ask that people not wear anything too scary or "adult".

I've seen some real doozies over the years that would not be appropriate at such a venue.

The radio station I originally heard this on this morning (before using Google) didn't mention the decision had been reversed. I was mainly wanting to see the reaction of folks here. It seems silly to ban kids from dressing as clowns.

A couple years ago, a person here was wearing a clown suit, knocking on doors and if no one answered, breaking In and robbing homes. One night the clown knocked on a door and a teen answered holding a gun. The clown ran down the street and has not been seen since.

What is the obsession today of BANNING things? There is no right not to be offended. What is the penalty for wearing a Clown Costume? Maybe Laurie the organizer should be BANNED! Is this a female thing? Banning stuff you don't like?
