It's not funny. I couldn't care if it was said in jest.

It's throwaway hateful statements like that that perpetuate the division.
Along with the many hateful comments on this thread, wishing people dead and wishing pipe bombs blew up in peoples faces.

Former FBI guys say this was a lousy amateur job and expect they probably made a bunch of other mistakes along the way. He seemed to think they may be caught by early next week at the latest. This could really hurt one side or the other if the offender has noticeable political affiliation or history

All y'all are pointing your fingers at one party or the other raising reasons why it would benefit the party you dislike more. Here's the thing. Most of these folks who go after politicians share one thing in common: they are angry. No matter what side of the aisle they are on, their anger unites them. It's usually that they are angry because they perceived someone has wronged them personally. Anyone who thinks this through logically would see there is not a vast right or left wing conspiracy because if -- and more than like -- when the guilty folks are caught, it does nothing good for their side. It's very likely one or two nutjobs going after specific people for reasons that make sense to only him.

Folks high up in both parties understand this is an insane move. They would never do it.

Are you aware that there are conservatives who are not straight and/or white?

If not, that's some stunning bigotry.

Default In your opinion, which scenario is more likely the cause/origin of today's terrorism scare(pipe bombs)?

With the info that we have right now, which scenario do you believe is most likely?

Well, that's the media/DNC's wish. I don't ascribe the conduct of one nutbag to an entire group of people. Didn't do it with the Scalise shooter, who was a Bernie supporter. I won't do it with this person, regardless of what she thinks politically.

Joe Manchin didnt do it because it was right, he did it to save his butt... Why wait until EVERYONE announce their vote? When he realize that Kavanaugh was going to be nominated he jumped ship to save his butt.. Manchin is a two-face liar... He RECEIVED permission from Schumer based on what was happening with the votes...

Full disclosure: No Trump fan here and think he sends all sorts of negative messages, quite deliberately - for his own advantage (both political and personal), the country be damned.

What are "gaffes" for most other politicians are full court press for Trump.

The Trump moment that made my jaw drop is not any of the oft-repeated "outrages" and, in fact, received little "airtime." It was during an interview after one of the Republican primary debates, where he was boasting of how he handled one of the others who seems to have angered him with some assertion.

I actually don't now remember who it was for it was the Trump behavior that was memorable. He took his fist and said that he wanted - could - would (the exact word is gone) hit this guy (it wasn't Fiorina) so hard that his head would "swizzle." The look on Trump's face was what struck. He was *ticked.*

At first I thought he was literally threatening ... then on replay that it was unwise hyperbole ... another friend who also saw it thought him quite serious.

Who knows. You either like that stuff or do not. Me, not so much.

How many pipe bombs have the GOP received?
