Bosses at Rocky Top Middle School in Adams County, Colorado, said parents should have been notified of L’Whor’s appearance last Friday, and given the chance to pull their kids out of her talk. One relative who emailed CBS4 claimed they and other parents of sixth to eighth graders who met L’Whor were ‘in an outrage,’ calling the appearance ‘so inappropriate on so many levels.’
Parents angry about L'Whor visit to their children's school.
It looks like
‘Parents should have known in advance who was going to be speaking, and that didn’t happen in this particular situation. ‘Parents just needed to have more info, and context about what was going to be talked about, and some background on this individual, and they weren’t given that information.’
I think it is a reasonable request from the parents.
This said, my nephews and my Godson saw drag queens like that in Hollywood one time. They were five years old at the time, and all they did is giggling. I told them it is rude to stare and giggle, just accept the fact that there are all kinds of people out there. They told their little friends that they saw ugly ladies looking like animation characters, but they quickly got over it.
They should have invited someone without a name like that, giving kids the idea that it's ok to use language like that. It shouldn't just be SJW feminists who have a problem with that.
I can understand having a drag queen for career day, but then why to discuss bullying? Why not to discuss having a career in the arts/performance/drama?

Yeah not sure why she was talking about bullying. Maybe she was talking about her career and was just answering questions about bullying. Hard to know the whole truth the way stories are reported now days.

Not notifying parents is INTENTIONAL.
Is it common to notify parents of who is speaking on career day. I never got a guest list.
