Close The Gaps: Disparities That Threaten America

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger. Who's the banana republic now?

No one will now say they want what Venezuela is going through.

Ah yes, here we go again ...

Top 10 Most Socialist Countries in the World
China
Denmark
Finland
Netherlands
Canada
Sweden
Norway
Ireland
New Zealand
Belgium

Except maybe for China, you can see that list of the World's Most Socialist Countries is a list of utter and complete hellholes. Nobody would want to live in them.

Europe is not even Europe anymore. Europe is Muslim Africa and mid East, just moved north into the "system".

And YES, Venesuala and Cuba ARE the western versions of Communism. Why dont you move there, James?

Socialism has nothing to do with government, it has to do with worker control of production, like worker cooperatives and credit unions.

And you ignored my point entirely, communism fails because people are not compatible with it. We don't work like that, never have, and never will.

Most people like yourself ignore that simple fact, and just think it will work because it sounds cool.
Yes they are, more so than state capitalism that creates control through threat of violence.

The first year of the USSR, worker Soviets (councils) were set up, but the Bolsheviks quickly destroyed them and claimed Russia can’ be communist because they weren’t industrialized (a lie to keep power), then when Stalin industrialized them he refused to implement socialism.

Real socialism exists all around us in worker cooperatives, credit union banks, and electric cooperatives which help communities abandoned by the state and private industry.

Please read about it, there is a reason discussions of what actual socialism is isn’t allowed in the corporate media or ‘left wing’ capitalist party (the democrats).

I find it terribly curious people like you always point out Venezuela and Cuba as examples of socialism, and completely ignore the Denmarks, Canadas and Germanys of the world, who are also socialist. Notice you didn't ask me if I wanted to move to Denmark, you asked me if I wanted to move to Venezuela and Cuba. As if Venezuela and Cuba were the only examples of socialism in the world!
