This.

The MSM likes to pass itself off as some type of defenders of truth when really they're just ratings whores and defenders of the DNC.

Trump is half right. It is right-wing media that is the problem!

The US has a history of controlling media and using propaganda to shape the views of it's citizens. Even a child can see that the media is being weaponized to try and stop Trumps agenda. It's not him - it's the agenda of taking back govt. from corrupt officials, corporations and deep state colluders.

In fact, I think it is probably the one of the biggest threats facing our country right now. Intentionally biased news is a destabilizer; it divides people (which we are seeing). It makes our country look unsure of itself in the eyes of people living in other countries (which we are seeing), and that simply encourages other world leaders to take advantage of us (which is happening).
Totally agree. We were watching Japanese news the other night. The contrast between straight reporting, without the hype, and what the US media does is staggering.

Here's an example most of us can probably agree on, since it's not political: the weather. Instead of just giving you predicted rainfall (or snow accumulation), wind speeds, etc., they have to sensationalize it. This is the worst storm in three years!! Stock up!! Armageddon!!!!

They've been particularly bad with Trump. It's partially because he gives them so much to go off of. Take a look at the 'Mexican's are rapists' statements, and compare the entire statement to what the media ran with. It's ALL stupid. It was a stupid thing for Trump to say. Yes there was a little truth in there, but still not something a grown man who is the current president of the US needs to bleat out in the manner he did. But then the media makes it twenty times worse by selective trimming, then doing the sensationalizing that they do for everything. Is it any wonder that you have a portion of the population that now believes he is "literally Hitler"?

They need to tone it down every bit as much as Trump does.

You can say that as a rebuttal to someone calling Trump a pansy? Have you never heard Trump speak? He's the king of juvenile name calling and he's the president. Apparently, a lot of people love that kind of playground crap be spouts daily and then when the press reports on his name-calling and divisive tweets then he bad-mouths the press for making him look bad. News flash: there's not enough lipstick in the world to make that pig look good. Every president has had their every word repeated in the media. Trump shouldn't have run for president if he didn't understand how that works.

Wayland Woman is right. Juvenile name calling has gotten Trump into the Oval Office to the horror of decent people everywhere. Sadly, it does seem to work.

Completely agree. In the last few weeks I have noticed a conspiracy to push the idea that the real estate market is slowing down. (interesting how all of the sudden this has happened close to midterms) Suggesting there is an economy problem. But there is no reporting of facts. Clearly this is going to start to take the economy soon as people start to believe that real estate is not going to sell and put plans to buy on hold.

This needs to stop. A small elite in the media is controlling and shaping reality. That is terrifying.

All Presidents have had to deal w/ the Media. Nothing new. Most hated it. Some got obviously riled up about it, but none, none other than Trump took it so personal. His ego is so fragile that anyone not praising him will send him into an infantile rage. It's what he signed up for.

Trump supporters are up early today, still trying to spin and defend their leader. Republican party is lost.

Back in my day, the Republican party were decent human beings who simply had a differing view on economics and policy.

It is now the party of hate mongering, violence, and sheer stupidity.
