Three similar situations. Only 1 of these 3 kept his job. And I will preface this by saying that I do find Bill Maher somewhat funny even though he is on the opposite side of the political spectrum.
Bill Maher has drunk some of the Leftists' KoolAid. Once in a while he still has common sense. Watch his interview with Steve Bannon. He couldn't compete intellectually nor debate so resorted to eye rolls half the time.
None of these 3 should have been fired IMO It's called free speech. If you don't like it turn the channel.
An employer can fire an employee for any reason, without question. Free speech doesn't apply to work contracts unless explicitly expressed in said contract.

For those who don’t read Breitbart, perhaps you can tell us what you’re talking about.
Or the black woman who said white males are a problem in America, who also kept her job.
For those keeping track, I am sure the overwhelming number of people fired will be conservatives, and those who keep their jobs will be liberals/leftists/socialists.

Though I know you were replying to another poster, don't be obtuse.
I for example don't read Breitbart nor listen to InfoWars, but know of numerous leftist hypocrisy when it comes to penalizing people for freedom of speech, if it does not conform to their PC speech codes.

Yes, well in some peoples cut & dry world that may be true, but it must be a two way street. Corporate America will one day be even more powerful, and peoples ability to work might be dependent on currying favor with the PC police.
Trouble is that freedom of speech cannot only be deemed ok for one ideology, and everyone else pays a price by not being able to put food on the table.
That, regardless of whether it is the government imposing it or not, is not what our FF's intended regarding freedom of speech/expression.
